Days of Summer and Discovery Tour is to take a walk around the world in The Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The Cleveland Cultural Gardens are a collection of
public gardens located in Rockefeller Park in Cleveland, Ohio. The gardens are
situated along East Boulevard & Martin Luther King Jr. Drive within the 276
acre of wooded parkland on the city's East Side.
One of Northeast Ohio’s oldest and most beautiful locations
consists of 33 dedicated gardens, designed, and cultivated by distinct cultural
or nationality groups. Founded in 1916, the Cultural Gardens are unique to the
world. They represent the diversity and multiculturalism that is Cleveland, and
bring to life the Gardens’ mission, “peace through mutual understanding.”
unique park is a great educational tool, as well as a great
place to relax, enjoy nature in the midst of a city, walk or ride a bike, see
statues of significant personalities or depictions of faraway lands. Some of the
countries represented are the German Garden, Irish Garden, Italian Garden,
Indian Garden along with 29 additional spectacular gardens. Depicted in the
gardens are the poets, philosophers, peacemakers, composers, scientists and
others who have contributed to world culture
During this time of global pandemic, the park is remaining
open. However, when you come, please be aware of and sensitive to social
distancing guidelines: stay six feet apart from others and wear masks if
possible. Wash your hands before your visit or use hand sanitizer before you
exit your car.
